Willow the Lost Cat and her Amazing Journey

A cute calico cat, named Willow, disappeared from her home in Colorado in late 2006 or early 2007. Her owners thought that she had been eaten, either by coyotes or owls. She was found, five years later, 1800 miles away in New York. So, how did willow travel this far, and end up in such good condition? That is what we're going to find out!
Willow left her house when a contractor left the door open. She then jumped onto the contractor's vehicle, and traveled on that for a while. When the vehicle stopped, she jumped off and walked a short distance. She noticed a car on the side of the road with the door open. The elderly couple that owns the car were outside, arguing about gas. Willow jumped in the car and hid under the seat. She stayed there until they got to the couple's house. Upon arrival, the couple discovered her and shooed her away. She continued walking and sneaking on and in trucks and cars. When she was hungry, she would follow other cats back to their house and steal their food. Once, she got cornered by dogs, but a nice old lady stopped the dogs and rescued Willow. When the old lady didn't find a collar on Willow, she assumed it was a stray and took her in. She fed Willow, bathed Willow, and took care of her. A few months later, The old lady moved to New York. She took Willow with her. But, in New York, the old lady got older and older. Eventually, she died. No one thought about the old lady's cat, Willow. So, once again, Willow took to the streets. Until, that is, a man found her and took her to the pet shelter.
At the pet shelter, They discovered she had a chip in her shoulder. Using the chip, they traced back Willow's origins and rightful owner. She was returned to her home, five years after she left it. Since she left, the two kids living in her house turned to three, and the one dog turned to two.
